Data Analytics Analyst

What you'll be doing: The data analytics analyst will be responsible for performing data analytics for the function. May participate the in the development of analytical tools and solutions to the support the business line. Execute, test data extraction and analyze utilizing various computer software packages of the department within established deadlines. Prepare and document detailed specifications of the programs utilized to pull data including: creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and data integrity of the data that is provided to the internal customer. May analyze and make recommends on business, technology, and process improvement opportunities. Partner with various business lines to perform data analysis procedures as applicable to the support of ongoing projects. Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries.

What your background should be: 3-5 years information technology and/or business analysis experience required. Applicant requires having the experience in building relational data structures, including relationships between tables and grouping data; technical skills to manipulate and analyze data in a variety of formats (e.g. SAS, SQL, Access, Oracle, Macros, Excel). Applicant requires be experienced in working with Macros either in Excel or Macro Express; experiencing with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Applicant should have the ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree in Business, IS, Computer Science or a related field required. Master/Advanced degree in Business, IS, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
