Data Mining Specialist/Business Analyst

What you'll be doing: Lead role in developing micro strategy reports, projects, and training. Query multiple databases using established business rules to develop reports. Build reports and solutions based on database / business knowledge with potentially minimal requirements. Participate in projects by adding reporting requirements and assumptions in project documentation and meeting reporting deadlines established by the project. Responsible for working with business partners to answer questions and provide analysis. Support US ACH, US Wire, and non US payment operations reporting requirements. Participate in design, development and implementation of complex data management, storage applications, often using new technologies. Serve as a fully seasoned, proficient technical resource. Participates as an individual contributor on projects, completing activities as a part of a team related to special initiatives or operations.

What your background should be: Proven ability to develop reports and projects using micro strategy BI tool. Experience writing SQL for data extraction, mining, and manipulation. Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work. Experience manipulating / analyzing / working with large amounts of data. Ability to balance multiple needs, requests and goals. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with a high proficiency in excel. Strong reporting capability prefer skills to simplify/automate where possible. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities (turn data into actionable information). Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
