What you'll be doing
- The Data Warehouse Architect will design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability, responsible for defining all data standards and models for data warehouse architectures. In addition, evaluate and provide recommendations on infrastructure components such as software, hardware, database management systems, information delivery, data discovery, data visualization and networking capabilities. This person will also work closely with the business analytics team to create enterprise data warehouse blueprint, solutions, and technology roadmaps also responsible for the assessment and definition of technology direction, which aligns with IT strategy in order to meet complex system requirements. Define the complex technical platforms utilizing architectural modeling principles as a part of an IT architecture framework. Work closely with IT directors to apply IT strategy to long-term architecture vision. The Data Warehouse Architect will responsible for alignment of architecture prioritization to corporate IT strategic initiatives also responsible for linkage between enterprises planning and architecture current and future state visions via technology road maps.
What your background should be
- 10+ years of work related experience is preferred. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization. Possess prior experience in enterprise application portfolio rationalization including defining data migration road maps and solutions. Possess prior experience as DW Architect role on an enterprise DW implementation, large DW consulting practice, and DW product implementation. Experience designing data models, ETL, metadata, cubes and drill through reports. Experience and knowledge about mainframe TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, Microsoft, SQL server, SSIS/SSAS, SQL.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar degree, or equivalent.
