Database Analyst

What you'll be doing: The client is currently looking for a database analyst. As a database analyst, a candidate will be responsible for campaign execution, segmentation, reporting and analysis of marketing initiatives across multiple product lines. Gather requirements and execute marketing campaigns utilizing a campaign management system. Recommend and implement data driven solutions that provide measurable results. Build campaign reports and present findings to business owners. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks and participating in technical societies. Create process and reporting efficiencies. Assist in developing new strategies to support sales, retention, cross sell, profitability and optimization objectives. Manage multiple projects and deadlines. Perform other job related duties as assigned or apparent.

What your background should be: Work experience in marketing or analytics; basic sql experience required. Experience with excel (especially pivot tables), powerpoint and entire ms suite preferred. Relevant experience in direct marketing, database marketing and data analytics highly preferred. Statistical analysis and modeling experience using sas, r, spss, etc is highly preferred. Ability to write and understand complex sql preferred.
