What you'll be doing

Derivatives operations analyst is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate transaction processing across a broad range of products. The qualified candidate will look to succeed in industrialization efforts in order to enhance our processes and strategize our workflows. Trade exception resolution. Ad hoc queries from traders/sales/clients. Liaise with internal teams on break resolution. Manage life cycle events, allocation support, and/or novation management. Support new products and activities for the credit business. Industry initiatives and internal enhancements.

What your background should be

At least two years of professional experience in Operations. Proficient in MS Office. Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with a wide user group across multiple functions. Innate curiosity and drive. Significant control and risk management mindset. Self-motivated and confident when dealing with senior members of the firm. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Derivatives background a plus. Must have excellent judgment; independent thinker and resourceful. Strong knowledge of general business and corporate cultures. Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and non-routine information. Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up. Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency about getting results. Demonstrates high degree of integrity and confidentiality. Strong organizational skills. Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels. Comfortable working in a sometimes hectic, high pressure environment.
