What you'll be doing

Be capable to repair and operate all equipment. Includes, but not limited to: diesel and natural gas generators with associated cable and power distribution equipment. Perform onsite project; electrical, generator, power distribution, operation, and problem resolution. Possess an appropriate set of tools to perform duties proficiently. Maintain equipment, process equipment condition reports, bills of lading, time logs, and other documents in a timely manner. Ensures all are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for accounting needs. Safely operate a variety of equipment, including forklift and service vehicles. Works on a flexible work schedule 24x7x365 and responds to emergency calls as needed. Provide on call technical support to associates and customers.

What your background should be

Three to five years mechanical experience with heavy equipment preferably with a rental company or manufacturer and/or in a position with a working knowledge of diesel, gas, generators, electronic/electrical systems, etc.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training. Graduation from technician/maintenance training program preferred.
