Dietary Aide

What you'll be doing: Work in food service department under direct supervision of food service director and lead cook. Operate dish machine and various food service equipments. Assist with tray line assembly and restorative dining programs. Prepare food as assigned. Clean dish machine area, clean, and de-lime dish machine. Assist in maintaining preparation and service area in sanitary condition. Help to put away stock. Set up dietary tray cards. Deliver food carts to resident meal services location areas. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff. Adhere to strict guidelines for serving times. Adhere to sanitation control issues as described in policy and procedure manual. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be: Able to communicate and follow instructions. Food service experience is preferred. Long-term care experience is preferred. Must be qualified in accordance with state specific dietary and nursing home requirements.
