What you'll be doing

This position is responsible to provide support and training, including but not limited to, emotional support, physical support and monitoring and development of life skill through training program, all leading to increased independence and participation in community life for person with developmental disability and other related disorder. Communicate with all level of personnel, internal and external to the company. Possess sufficient eye or hand coordination to operate office, adaptive and household equipment. Light and ventilation as found in typical home or office setting. Monitor all agency requirement for pre employment as required by state regulation.

What your background should be

Experience in providing service and support to individual with mental developmental disability or related disorder preferred. Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driving license from state of residence with a satisfactory driving record. Must have excellent communication and writing skill. Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instruction. Must have fine vision, sustained vision and peripheral vision.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED.
