What you'll be doing
- The director of education is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the education and training strategic plan to support and priorities for excellence in clinical care and services. The director oversees education, orientation, competencies and specialty training at the organizational level or for the individual business lines of company. This individual partner with the director of quality and risk management, the director of clinical practice and other company leadership to improve clinical, financial and operational performance. The director works in collaboration with the other affiliates to further the objectives of the company. The director of education reports directly to the chief clinical executive. The candidate also is involved with the research and design of educational materials and instructional methods.
What your background should be
- Minimum 3 years of experience in educational program management; performing training use and needs analysis, implementing training interventions and measuring results. Experience working in a healthcare environment required. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical operation and practice. Experience working with adult learner. Home health and hospice experience preferred. Must have multitasking ability. Should have good communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree.
