What you'll be doing
- The director of finance will support the enterprise in activities related to icfr compliance. In addition, this position will also be responsible for activities performed within the internal control department (icd) in relation to enterprise compliance efforts and internal control initiatives. The candidate will perform annual scoping and risk assessment exercises for gaap and stat processes. Oversee annual service organization scoping and compliance, quarterly process owner attestation and quarterly deficiency analysis. S/he will become a liaison with lob management (process/control owners) for maintenance of sox documentation/control rationalization. Maintain monthly scorecard analytics of changes in sox processes, control, issues, and action plans; monitoring of open issues, and action plans with internal audit partners. Perform other compliance/reporting initiatives (i.e. Ssae 16) and other responsibilities, as warranted.
What your background should be
- Cpa with 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting preferred. The incumbent with minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in auditing and internal controls preferred. Demonstrated ability to achieve results by working independently, demonstrated ability to lead work teams, ability to deal effectively with individuals of all levels of the enterprise and strong analytical ability preferred. Strong financial operations business knowledge and working knowledge of pcoab, sox, and mar preferred. Experience with grc or other monitoring tool a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills; proficient use of microsoft excel, word, visio, share point; initiate projects within icd and other risk functions preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Graduate or undergraduate degree, major in accounting or related financial field
