What you'll be doing

Company is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual for the position of Director of Member Engagement. Primary functions include oversight and management of the Membership and Healthy Living departments with a focus on engaging, retaining, and growing our current facility membership. This position will develop, plan, and implement new procedures and methods to achieve strategic goals and increase overall retention in our wellness programs and membership. In addition, the Director of Member Engagement will establish and develop a staff team that can build strong relationships with members and create an overall more connected member experience. This position is also responsible for staff hiring and training, schedule management, adherence to all policies and procedures, curriculum innovation and the overall seamless connection to our members both new and existing.

What your background should be

This position is required A minimum of 3+ years of professional and supervisory experience. Preferred candidate must have previous experience in membership and wellness. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competencies in the areas of staff development, relationship building skills, communication skills and resource development. Ability to work with all levels of staff, management and volunteers to build a cohesive team is a must as well as the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Required Schooling / Training

A Bachelor Degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
