What you'll be doing

As a director residential sale, the candidate will develop and maintain a perspective on industry dynamics (market size, growth, key trends, competition). Collaborate with marketing to develop insights for residential customers (segments, needs, customer lists). Collaborate with product development to design product and service offerings for residential customers. Coordinate with other functions (operations, it, and finance, etc.) to ensure product offerings and service commitments are effectively delivered. Partner with marketing on digital marketing and collateral requirements. Design sales process and supporting tools (CRM, account plans, etc.) to align sales activities across national, regional, and local levels. Coordinate with regional and area leadership in developing customer acquisition and retention plans. Develop an annual strategic plan for residential vertical with the customer development department. Coordinate with pricing and field leadership on pricing policies. Plan, coordinate and execute major training initiatives field sales representatives. Evaluate the performance of sales channels (door to door, telephone, the web, email, direct mail) and assists the field leadership in acquisition strategies. Maintain a network of third party provider and assist field leadership in retaining them. Perform other job related duties as assigned or apparent.

What your background should be

The candidate must have at least a minimum of 5 years of direct sales and sales leadership experience in residential sales (e. g., door to door, etc.); waste or transportation industry experience; 5 years of experience in marketing and strategy in market sizing, customer insights and product development is preferred. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage projects within budget, maintain the momentum and achieve results with minimal supervision.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree is required and masters degree is preferred.
