What you'll be doing

This position will oversee approximately 20 to 25 couriers on a day-to-day basis to ensure that route run smoothly and specimen delivered back to the laboratory in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate is responsible for daily management responsibilities to include, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, disciplinary action, termination, payroll, scheduling, and employee relations for staff. S/he is responsible for assisting with the management and upkeep of the fleet and other equipment used in this department. This person will establish relationships with vendors, interacting with them to help resolve issues. Responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures and ensuring department is up to date on training and ISO-master control responsibilities.

What your background should be

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in related field required. Prior supervisory experience managing large groups of people is preferred. Prior distribution experience is preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree or equivalent required.
