What you'll be doing

This is responsible for the achievement of the targets set by the regional director. This includes economic goals, quality and quantity targets in according with the set budget (revenue, quantity, expenses, BJ, investments). S/he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales and handling team. She/he is responsible for implementing and adjusting the local aspect of the regional market strategy as defined by the regional director. Manages all import/export and warehouse affairs, including negotiations with service providers on local level. Implements and adjusts the district/country import/export operational business plan and objectives. This includes the handling budget process and control of primary and net unit costs, as well as control and steering of qualitative key performance indicators for example FAB, C2k, FAP.

What your background should be

Must have 5 years of cargo professional experience required. Several years of experience in a comparable position in the sales or handling organization. Very good knowledge of the processes, systems and business models (financing, outsourcing, developing) as well as interrelations within the company acquired through extensive working experience in the air cargo sector.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED required.
