Echocardiography Technician

What you'll be doing: The echocardiographic (ECHO) technician is responsible to the ECHO supervisor and the department manager. The ECHO technician must be able to perform quality electrocardiographs studies and perform all of the specific studies outlined by the department. Must interact effectively with patients, families and other health team members. She/he works in a self-directed work team committed to common purposes and goals. The ECHO technician works within the scope of the American society of echocardiography guidelines. Must contribute to positive patient outcomes by meeting the cultural expectations of the organization and exhibit professional behavior and ECHO expertise. Shares responsibility for all aspects of departmental and team functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
