What you'll be doing

As an electrical engineer, the candidate will develop knowledge of assembly of wind turbine electrical and other components in the plant. Educate workers in the company product, clarify expectations for company equipment. Lead vendor interpretation of the companys product specifications and term definitions. Communicate detailed with technical issues clearly. Support others company plant, as a technical consultant for all wind turbine nacelles, power units, cooling units and other components assembled in north America. Support manufacturing lean initiatives. Disposition non conforming equipment encountered during manufacture. Provide guidance to factory for new designs. Define expectations for companys equipment assembly. Support continued customer relationships clarify technical concerns with engineering and internal customers as needed. Support others company to interface with north American vendors for non conforming equipment support engineering team for project installation in the Americas region as needed.

What your background should be

The candidate must have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in practical work. Preferred experience or course works in the areas of electrical panel, equipment design and manufacture and construction site practices. Experience and course work in the areas of equipment design and manufacture, electrical cabinet and interconnecting wiring assembly shop principles and manufacturing methodology preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
