What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of electrical and instrumentation for the Baltimore plant. Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as flow meters, control valves, motors, VFDS and other various electrical equipment. Specify order and install electrical equipment. Proceed to the verification of equipment, system and process. Manage all contractors to perform jobs on time, on budget and with high quality standards. Provide recommendations for improvements and problem resolutions. Work and communicate with corporate as needed on projects and implementation of standards at local level. Document electrical changes or modifications made in the field and communicate via drawing revision. Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean safe working environment. Perform all work in accordance with applicable safety procedures. Work to improve the facility at best in class level of operation and as a leader in the industry.

What your background should be

Electrical/instrumentation technology or mechanical/electrical engineering or similar proven hands on industrial experience. Previous experience in manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred. Ability to read and create electrical drawings. Understanding of 480 volt3 phase power, lower voltage instrumentation and AB PLC in an industrial environment. Experience in trouble shooting relay logic, ladder logic, and control system input/output signals. Maintenance skills with electronic equipment involving instrumentation. AC motors, PLC (valves), VFD drives, and analog and digital circuits. Basic electrical repair and maintenance skills are a must.
