What you'll be doing

As an electro mechanical technician fix electronic manufacturing systems. The ideal person is responsible for maintaining machines this includes: calibrating assemblies to meet specifications and using test instruments, like electronic voltmeters, to gauge performance. Technician will generally fill out a written report assessing the machine performance and whether further service or inspection may be required. May assist with the installation or pulling of electrical submersible pumps (ESP). Technician may work in environments ranging from factories to specialized facilities, like water treatment plants. Additionally, maybe required to travel to other sites to perform service. Be able to install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.

What your background should be

2+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or minimum 2 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic). Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes. Excellent communication skills and communicate with all levels of leaders in the organization.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or associates degree in electrical or mechanical field.
