What you'll be doing

Assemble and test electro-mechanical prototypes, including integration, troubleshooting, calibration, functional testing and data acquisition. Perform final system performance checks and complete necessary documentation throughout the build process. Responsible for basic analog and digital circuit debugging. Set-up test rigs, analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation. Write and maintain process documentation. Collaborate with engineering to breadboard and test new prototype systems. Design and build cables connecting PCBA. Conduct verification and validation tests. Interface with R&D and operations engineers to perform other tasks as required. Conduct all activities in accordance with ISO 13485 certified lab environment.

What your background should be

Experience using oscilloscopes, multi meters, and qualifying and testing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. Experience with embedded systems hardware and micro controllers. Hands-on skills with soldering through-hole and surface mount electronic components, as well as building cabling. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Lab. View or other similar data acquisition software.

Required Schooling / Training

2 year technical degree
