What you'll be doing
- Assisting the manufacturing process engineer in multiple capacities including developing and implementing process techniques, analyzing manufacturing process flows and estimating production times and costs. Conducting product development and design. Reviewing product designs to ensure they comply with all standards, principles, requirements and specifications. Developing equipment specifications. Developing, coordinating and implementing technical training for employees with assistance from manufacturing department. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical technical problems. Working alongside vendors to determine product specifications for equipment and parts purchase. Additional duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 3 years experience performing similar job duties. Proficiency in CAD and solid works. Knowledge of flow works, Flow2000 or tooling design helpful. Knowledge of plastic extrusion industry. Experience in the medical industry preferred, especially with medical devices and components. Familiarity with electronic controls preferred.

- BS in science or engineering
