What you'll be doing
- Develop and monitor progress on multimedia services performance objectives. Execute the human resource functions for the multimedia services group, including job design, performance, professional development, evaluation, recruitment, salary reviews, promotions, and disciplinary action. Establish, implement and enforce firm wide policies, standards and procedures associated with testing, requesting, and delivery of multimedia services. Ensure regular communication among multimedia services staff firm wide. Establish and monitor metrics for multimedia services. Establish and maintain standard reports for multimedia services. Establish and maintain mechanisms for identifying and tracking audiovisual technology problems and expediting resolution. Serve as a liaison with marketing and training and development on audiovisual and multimedia services requirements for those groups. Provide input on space planning and design firm wide, focusing on audiovisual centric spaces such as conference rooms, moot court rooms, and training rooms. Participate in high level technology planning for firm wide and other high profile events. Select appropriate multimedia services products and service providers; participate in vendor and service provider negotiations; manage vendor and service provider performance.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with technology support, with at least two years supporting audio visual/conference centre technology. Minimum of five years in a management role. Formal project management training and demonstrated project management experience. CTS or other industry certification.
