What you'll be doing
- The primary responsibility of the Events Coordinator is to consult with client departments to plan and implement events that exceed strategic goals and objectives of the School of Professional Studies. Responsibilities involve: conceptualize themes, present ideas, and research requests, assess feasibility, and make recommendations to ensure the implementation of successful, targeted events. The Events Coordinator will be accountable for consulting with Director on management of large-scale events; research vendors, options, pricing structures, etc. It is the duty of the Events Coordinator to handle project expenses; verify staffing, space, and equipment needs; conduct post-event evaluations for Director, recommending future improvements.
What your background should be
- 3 years of experience in planning and implementing special events
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree
