What you'll be doing
- Pull orders for equipment requests. Fill out paperwork (including bill of ladings and transfer forms). Schedule equipment pickup and delivery from the concern warehouse to destination. Unload and load equipment and salvage trailers. Assign correct inventory tag to any items coming in. Transport to proper location in warehouse. Load aluminum items that are no longer usable in the proper containers. Arrange for recycling company to pick up and have scrapped to obtain credit back for concern-company. Seek to reduce costs by consolidating shipments by area. Coordinate all schedules with excess equipment coordinator. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Forklift and pallet jack certification. Knowledge of equipment and able to determine when equipment is not safe for use preferred. Basic mathematical skills, good hand, and eye coordination skills preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma.
