What you'll be doing

The chosen person will be required to assist the fabrication side of business within the Metal Shop and to accurately fabricate metal per release drawings. The other duties may include: - Produce and process the metal products manufacturing including braking of cladding, metal, grinding, shearing, welding and finishing. - Track Work-In-Process as well as storage of jobs + ensure safety and maintenance of the equipment used in the department. - Review and follow SOP for work assignments as improve and maintain the quality of production. - Take responsibility for the housekeeping within the department.

What your background should be

Education Level / Certificates / Skills required for the Fabrication Helper position: - Shop safety knowledge. - Experience within the Machine Operating area. - Previous experience working in Fabrication Shop. - Ability to read engineering drawings and Blue schematics. - High School Diploma is a must have. - Use of measuring equipment. - Welding Experience is highly desired. - Excellent, verifiable work history. - Use of power tools, hand tools as well as wood cutting equipment. - Solid skills in quick problem solving. - Machine School tech graduates are highly welcome.
