What you'll be doing
- Assist in the management, control, coordination and execution of projects involving complex and long term leasing, space acquisition and construction management. Provide expertise in technical analysis and developing technical papers, briefings and performance predictions. Create, maintain and report on construction schedules. Support may include assistance in developing and reviewing statements of work (SOW), statements of objectives (SOO) and performance work statements (PWS) and developing acquisition strategies and evaluation criteria. Assist the BPFTI program manager in managing and coordinating acquisition activities that may consist of monitoring required procurement timelines and milestones, assisting in the preparation and development of all acquisition documentation, acquisition program documents, plans and performance measures and providing advice and assessments throughout the acquisition process.
What your background should be
- 12 years related experience. Candidate with more of those 8 years in construction projects or offices will receive priority. Experience in facilities management. Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint preferred. Experience with RS means or Timberline is very helpful. Excellent communications both orally and in writing up and down the chain of command; able to multi-task and provide accurate and timely data. Familiarity with any combination of TRIRIGA, MS Access, MS Excel and SharePoint will be given priority. Current and active CBP full BI (customs border protection full background investigation) DOD top secret. Professional engineering, project management and other construction management certifications considered but not required. Experience working in a construction organization doing coordination activities or with tactical assets construction takes precedence.
