What you'll be doing

The incumbent develop reliability strategies, goals and expectations, provide direction to teams that develop maintenance plans to optimize the useful life of assets, through direct reports, ensure CMMS system is functioning and maintained to provide meaningful life cycle information for all facility services and manufacturing maintenance organizations, develop asset management strategies, goals and expectations to optimize direct maintenance costs and collateral operations costs, develop and implement the use of standard leading key performance indicators to ensure efficient and effective use of maintenance resources, review maintenance cost and effectiveness data with each leader throughout the year and direct any course corrections that are necessary to meet business plan goals, maintain a continuous improvement philosophy about industrial maintenance processes, method and system and develop supporting strategies to implement continuous improvement.

What your background should be

Requires 5+ years of Experience (5 to 7 years manufacturing and warehousing maintenance leadership experience), intermediate PC skills, very good written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills, including Excel, Word, computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and internet, ability to work around industrial facilities, including food, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation and refrigerated, ability to respond to emergency situations at any time of the day or night, and to be able to spend long periods of time on the job during emergencies (inside and outside), ability to stand, stoop and crawl in order to maneuver around equipment. Bilingual is a plus. BS degree in related field or Associate science engineering degree with 7 to10 years of applicable work experience as a maintenance manager/plant engineer in multiple manufacturing and warehousing facilities.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor Degree Required (B.S. Degree in Maintenance Management, Reliability or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields.
