What you'll be doing

Fuel logs maintained accurately and up to date for each vehicle and type of fuel. Weekly chemical inspections and maintenance. Maintain up to date parts/stock inventory and labeling. Clean vehicle interior and exteriors as required. Interior seats shampooed monthly. Vehicle emergency equipment (first aid kit, body fluid kit) fully stocked and functional. Facility and vehicle fire extinguisher monthly check-off. All fleet damage documented weekly and communicated to appropriate personnel in the case of unreported damage. Work area maintained according to OSHA and EPA regulations. Office, break and restroom areas cleaned and trash disposed of properly daily. Maintain adequate storage and accurate inventory of cleaning supplies required.

What your background should be

Current class B license, passenger endorsement, air brake endorsement. Basic handyman experience is preferred. General knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations related to shop and office conditions. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to understand basic directions. Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments. Ability to work independently and objectively.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
