What you'll be doing

The FCAP assistant supervisor is a member of the agency management team and is expected to carry out the job functions described below and to use the managerial and supervisory skills obtained through training, supervision and experience. The FCAP supervisor has supervisory responsibility for all FCAP staff on a particular unit. The FCAP supervisor is expected to provide some weekend coverage on a consistent basis. The FCAP supervisor is expected to develop and maintain a team approach in carrying out PBIS treatment services, including the planning and development of ongoing program and group activities. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

A minimum of two years at risk youth experience at client company, or a minimum of three years of similar experience at another youth service organization or equivalent childcare setting. Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, taking into account the varying clinical needs of each child. Implementation of new programs that have enriched the treatment milieu. Ability to chair an agency or department committee. Written documentation must be clear and appropriate. A valid NYS driving license.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
