What you'll be doing

Under general guidance of the district sales manager and within corporate guidelines the incumbent supervises and administers the achievement of corporate objectives by individual product line category within the area of district responsibility and within budgeted financial guidelines. The individual develops the skills and effectiveness of the sales representatives in making calls and presentations to end users. Conducts weekly activity reviews with sales representatives providing on-going training and direction. Often accompanies sales personnel on field calls, providing constructive feedback, and demonstrations. The responsible person projects a positive image of the corporation to clients and the community. He/she assists district sales manager in all phases of management activities in larger districts when needed.

What your background should be

2-3 years of sales management experience is required. Ideal applicant should have the ability to lead a team with exceptional communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

BA/BS in sales/marketing or management or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
