Field Service Engineer

What you'll be doing: Supporting sophisticated enterprise architectures to meet challenging mission goals, and scalability requirements that allow for a flexible system evolution and agile development. Supporting installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems involving Linux, Windows, VMware, and Oracle databases. Monitoring systems to ensure availability and performing system maintenance and upgrades. Providing on-site technical support for training events, exercises, and installations at sites both CONUS and OCONUS. Assisting in completion of system documentation including rack elevations, VDDs, installation instructions, upgrade guides, administration procedures, and design documentation.

What your background should be: 5+ years related experience. Currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance. Experience with software integration including web-based application servers (JBoss/Tomcat), relational databases (Oracle/Postgres) and GIS. Experience with Linux and Windows 2008 administration. Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of systems involving VMware, Linux, Windows, and Oracle. Experience with bare metal and virtualized system building and preparation. Two to five years of experience in system administration and system integration. Willing to travel up to 50% to support requirements.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree in a related technical field.
