What you'll be doing
- Reviewing contracts, transactions, and other applicable supporting documentation to assert to the existence and occurrence, completeness, rights and obligations and valuation of PP&E assets. Expertise should span federal budget development and execution, accounting, resource management, program performance and project management, acquisition, procurement, logistics and property management, data management and technical support when specified. Applying, referencing and interpreting federal financial accounting standards, DoD and agency regulations, and OMB circulars and guidance. Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members. Provide guidance to Agency management on strategic issues and other duties.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 additional years general experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with other contractors and government civilians. Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, economics or accounting or a related discipline
