What you'll be doing

The Financial Analyst position covers the following responsibilities: - Provide Military Intelligence Readiness Command support that is based on audit readiness samplings, assertions as well as testing schedules. - Assist Military Intelligence Readiness Command (MIRC) in policy development, readiness preparation, sampling and auditing, repository development, corrective actions, trend analysis and varied financial support. - Render consulting services in order to aid in complying to DoD directives in expedited audit readiness assertions. - Provide leveraging commercial and federal expertise, including financial, accounting, auditing and compliance activities. - Provide competent support in order to analyze efficient processes to have an opportunity to guarantee successful financial execution.

What your background should be

Basic qualifications needed for the Financial Analyst role: - Secret clearance. - Previous experience of work with data analysis. - Experience with MS SharePoint needed to maintain the Audit Portal. - Prior experience of work with MS Office Suite, including such elements as Access, PowerPoint and Excel. Additional qualifications that are highly desired for this position: - Compliance auditing knowledge. - Previous experience with commercial financial management or government cost accounting. - BS or BA degree in Business or IT. - Exceptional written and oral communication skills needed to contact the clients of the company in order to find the right solutions for various issues and risks. - Experience in working for or with the finance office or federal government accounting. - Superior analytical skills required to assess accounting and budget data in support of activities related to the financial management. - Knowledge of OMB, FAR regulations, or CFR (Code of Federal Regulations). - Federal finance regulations experience.

Required Schooling / Training

BS or BA degree in Business or IT.
