What you'll be doing
- Participate in buyside and sellside transaction advisory engagements. Interface directly with senior executives of clients and target companies. Analyze target company financial information and other data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company. Draft tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, achievability of management budget, indebtedness considerations, and post-transaction working capital analysis. Financial modeling. Assist in audit work paper review. Review and assess internal controls. Review purchase price adjustments (working capital, earn outs, etc.). Review customer and supplier contracts.
What your background should be
- The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members and an exceptional work ethic. Two to three years of experience with a big four public accounting firm. Transaction advisory experience is required. CPA is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
