Financial Analyst/Assistant Manager

What you'll be doing

Responsible under limited supervision for financial reporting and analysis. This role will participate in month-end closing, ad hoc accounting and various financial duties. This role will also assist in budgeting and non-trader inter-company transactions. General work direction is given and completed assignments or work is reviewed to ensure compliance with processes, standards and policies of the organization. Analyze actual operating results of each department through the year and compare to monthly forecast and yearly plan and interpret data and presents results to management. Respond to budget related requests for financial data. Perform fiscal and variance analysis on a variety of issues in support of and to facilitate budgetary decision making. Monitor financial trends and budgeted revenues and expenditures of responsible divisions to ensure the fiscal responsibility and control is maintained and to assure. Prepare monthly budget analysis reports for each department and analyze variance amount. Provide financial management reports as needed to management JIT. Resolve budget error problems, including trouble shooting and reminding users of company policy. Facilitate vendor management. Perform other finance or administrative support projects and tasks assigned by financial management.

What your background should be

Minimum 3-7 years of experience is required in related field. CPA a plus. Prior experience in accounting reporting and financial modeling required. SAP experience a plus. Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with advanced Excel spreadsheet preparation skills. Previous experience in the telecommunications industry a plus. Must be Bilingual in English and Korean (both written and verbal). Ability to read, interpret and act on proper understanding of accounting and financial documents based on corporate business financial philosophy. Ability to communicate in writing, through email, reports or orally, accounting and financial reporting matters. Ability to independently or as a team member achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications. The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within established time frames.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree.
