What you'll be doing
- The fixture and support maintenance technician will be primarily responsible for maintenance and repair process fixturing and equipment. This position will diagnose and troubleshoot production tools and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules. Interpret manuals, engineering drawings, schematics and other documents to effect repairs on production equipment and fixtures. Responsibilities cover all non-SMT related production type equipment, holding type fixtures used in the production process from SMT through final assembly, test, and pack. Assist process technicians and engineers with troubleshooting and repair of equipment and fixtures. Provide daily equipment functioning activity information. Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring equipment.
What your background should be
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. Must have knowledge of and ability to read prints and technical information such as drawings and schematics. Experience with automation types of hardware and familiarity with various calibration hardware and tools is a plus.
