Fleet Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic

What you'll be doing
- Candidate will perform a number of functions on a variety of fleet refrigeration equipment according to company policy; federal, state and local regulations; repair manuals; factory specifications; schematics and use own knowledge of the fleet refrigeration equipment. A successful candidate has to provide teaching and assisting other associates and assisting in other duties as assigned. Applicants who are currently employed in Orlando warehousing and support will be given more priority. All other distribution associates based on facility length of service.
What your background should be
- Candidate should be at least 21 years old and be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods. Candidate must have a valid driver license and authorization to drive a company vehicle; not having driving violations/offenses within the past seven years that would cause disqualification from driving a commercial vehicle. Obtain a Class A commercial driver license (CDL) within 90 days of start date in the position. Applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 65 pounds, read and interpret technical manuals and solve math problems. Should have an approved refrigerant recycling and service certification. Must have mechanical and diagnostic knowledge of fleet refrigeration equipment, as well as, knowledge of circuits and operational sequence of components, knowledge of soft/silver soldering, and GAS welding and cutting.
Required Schooling / Training
- At least three years of refrigeration trade school or equivalent experience.
