Flow Planner

What you'll be doing: The flow planner is responsible to provide data entry and inventory control support for CDS/SDS operations. The candidate will report/maintain what is in Gemini-measurements, pallet type, Plock, info, etc. S/he will ensure proper planning for receiving with an eye to the business realities of the dc operation. Provide timely response to operational store goods flow priorities and needs. Prioritize and schedule receiving and ensure service level demands met. Incumbent will ensure all articles and range administration is current and support distribution center operational needs. Coordinate store goods flow and distribution center operations to ensure smooth distributions for activities, ads, and promotions. Maintain, prioritize, and communicate the weekly quality stop list and follow-up on quality return goods to ensure maximum service level and goods availability. Contribute to an environment where company culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers. This position will assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.

What your background should be: The candidate should have 1 to 2 years of warehouse planning experience or strong knowledge of the company systems. S/he should have the ability to interact with all levels both internal and external to the distribution center. Incumbent should be customer oriented with good understanding of store needs. S/he should have computer literate with knowledge of pc applications and fluent in English, both written and spoken. Should be a dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated, confident in making independent decisions, and be able to communicate with all levels across the organization. S/he should be detail oriented and should have proven decision-making skills with ability to weigh both service and cost in decision-making. This position should have a clear understanding of and a passion for company values and principles.
