What you'll be doing
- This position assumes General Manager (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers. Daily responsibilities will include: oversight of food operations for student dining (approx 500 student boarders), retail food operations, training, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of service, catering bookings and set ups, direct interaction with customers, strategic planning for process improvement, cost control, Food and Safety compliance, cash handling, assisting other areas of food operations as assigned and direct supervision of 40 hourly associates.
What your background should be
- Basic management experience of 2 years and 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. This will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate Degree
