What your background should be
- 6 years of documented laboratory experience including or concurrently 3 years of forensic human DNA laboratory experience at a ISO or IEC 17025 accredited facility where forensic DNA testing was performed for the identification and evaluation of biological evidence in criminal matters. Molecular biology coursework or seminar covering statistics or population genetics3. Successful completion of a qualifying test. Good software and computer skills. Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Must complete health and safety training before commencing laboratory duties.
Required Schooling / Training
- Baccalaureate degree in biology or a forensic related discipline.
