What you'll be doing
- Demonstrates ability to enhance academic performance. Demonstrates competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position. Demonstrates competence in planning and preparing for instruction. Uses strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students. Uses a variety of methods to monitor student learning. Demonstrates competence in classroom management. Engages in professional growth. Fulfills professional responsibilities established by the school district. Performs other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the superintendent or principal.
What your background should be
- Meet K-12 or 5-12 French certification requirements department of education, state of Iowa. Dual certification in French and Spanish preferred; or willingness to gain certification in both areas. Experience in teaching French I and/or II. Experience in teaching middle school students.
