What you'll be doing

The successful candidate is responsible for professionally greet, register, obtain pertinent information and establish credit prior to assigning room to guest. Identify the need of each guest and provide relevant information regarding the hotel service and amenity. Respond to all guest request in a timely manner. Take reservation from incoming caller while providing superior service and input all information into the hotel management system. Update and cancel reservation in the system as requested by the guest. Manage difficult or emotional customer situation. Drive the company shuttle van when needed. Drive hotel shuttle to pick up and drop off guest at approved location as needed. Deliver requested item to guest as needed including incoming fax, mail, valet laundry, etc.

What your background should be

Hospitality and customer service experience is preferred. Ability to develop an understanding of concept, practice, pre established guideline and procedure used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary. Computer skill preferred. Predominantly evening hour, however may be required to work morning, holiday and weekend. Must have valid driving license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Required Schooling / Training

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
