What you'll be doing

As a front line manager you will manage and lead the staff and activities of the front line department including recruitment, coaching, mentoring, training, scheduling and performance management utilizing company values. You will partner with safety & security to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and audits regarding inventory integrity, safety, cash handling procedures, and internal audit standards. Maintain the state and entrance area is in shape as new. Ensure shopping tools are efficiently equipped at all times throughout the day. Secure that the front line coworkers have the knowledge, confidence, responsibility, authority and desire to support customers. Ensure loading area is efficiently equipped and effectively covered at all times throughout the day. Analyze customer concerns within your areas to identify the root causes of issues which impact negatively on the service the company offers to the customers. Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur.

What your background should be

3-5 years of this company management experience including training programs or 5-7 years high volume, big box, multi-unit retail management experience. Previous experience detecting efficiency opportunities and applying solutions to decrease costs without compromising the company values or functional review standards is expected. Ideal candidate should be proficient with computer software. Ability to work in a team and willingness to share knowledge and learning with other co-workers are asked. Applicant should be service oriented and have strong problem solving skills.

Required Schooling / Training

High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. Post secondary degree or equivalent skill set and knowledge acquired through formal education or extended apprenticeship in the field preferred.
