What you'll be doing
- The core purpose of the Full Time Medical Records Coordinator position is to process and maintain resident medical records, MDS Data and health information systems as required by the current state and federal guidelines.
What your background should be
- As a Full Time Medical Records Coordinator, the individual will be required to meet the following requirements: - Prior experience with assisting in planning, organizing and directing the medical records department according to the established procedures and policies. - Ability to take an active part in the facility improvement process. - Awareness of how to maintain discharged and active medical records with the established system. - Ability to assure of adequate inventory of medical records supplies. - Ability to friendly communicate with the MDS Coordinator in the process of assistance with the scheduling assessments according to the current PBRA and facility guidelines. - Bachelors Degree in the related field. - Excellent communication skills
