What you'll be doing

Build, lead and retain the company e-commerce team. Create and manage an e-commerce business plan, clearly communicating the relevant metrics, expectations and outcomes. Manage e-commerce P&L through detailed forecasting, budget development and oversight, revenue generation and marketing activities. Develop e-commerce capabilities and marketing programs to drive aggressive sales goals and optimization of metrics. Oversee paid strategy, implementation & execution of all online marketing campaigns, including search, affiliate marketing, video, retargeting, and display networks partner with marketing to build the online marketing playbook; ensuring every investment is delivering maximum return against defined objectives. Define and lead high priority initiatives including lifetime value models, audience segmentation, and retargeting initiatives. Ensure alignment on assortment planning and markdown strategy, while maintaining a wide breadth of available products. Obsessively monitor core metrics including traffic and conversion. Track and share e-commerce and retail trends as well as competitive landscape information.

What your background should be

5+ years of eCommerce leadership experience (ideally within the tech startup space). Experience with key online and retail strategies to include merchandising, pricing, product positioning, CRM, loyalty and personalization. Hands on experience in customer acquisition tools and techniques; deep online, channel experience, leveraging emerging trends/technology, crafting effective campaigns and initiatives in mobile, social, architecting and engaging user experience online, deep knowledge of SEO and SEM. Great communication skills and a talent for collaboration. Self-motivated and energetic personality. Energetic, kind, sincere, patient, and adaptable. Smart and organized. Positive attitude. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit.
