What you'll be doing
- Provide overall guidance to exceed customer expectation, grow the customer base and relocate the company. Coordinate with the product support representative to develop and grow new electrical service offering to include switchgear, automatic transfer switch, and breaker maintenance. Provide technical and commercial support of field start up, warranty effort, remedial repair, and preventative maintenance contract. Position will help identify and manage the acquisition of additional business, which fit the growth strategy of AES. Responsible for the financial performance of the PPS division, AES part and service operation, prepare annual budget, manage revenue and expense level to achieve target, approve major expense and insure financial reporting is timely and accurate. Responsible for managing and dispatching AES technician develop department annual objective necessary to improve local performance and in support of corporate initiative. Follow up to insure action plan are completed thoroughly and on time. Measure result and adjust approach accordingly. Insure employee development is completed via company system. Take personal responsibility for each employee development, well-being and performance through quality one on one time, coaching, mentioning and the delivery of regular feedback. Orient new employee and support them until they are self-sufficient. Interpret and reinforce the corporate culture, every day, with all staff and serve as a role model and leader for the department.
What your background should be
- 10+ years industry experience and strong knowledge of power distribution and control automation troubleshooting and start up. Merger and acquisition experience preferred. Installation, troubleshooting, and design of switchgear, ATS, and generator system experience preferred. Reading schematic and blueprint for power control and automation installation, troubleshooting, design and programming of automated control system using programmable logic controller (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), PC control, and distributed processing experience. Standard circuit breaker maintenance NETA assurance electrical performance previous management experience is required. Computer skill Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) are required.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology is highly preferred.
