What you'll be doing

Provide program and project level support to the manager and director of global customer engagement context. Support the manager of global customer engagement context with corporate strategy, sector strategy and business development organization to provide in depth market, customer, technological and competitive analysis to support international capture execution and business development effort. Serve as a resource for sector and corporate leadership on the global national security environment in region around the world. Support the identification of alignment and potential synergy with current and future company strategy, effort and product. Support the global customer engagement context manager, strategy, business development, and capture team, to define the competitive environment (direct and indirect competitor) in targeted region of the world, understand the regional security model, identify potential opportunity for client company and develop strategic approach to cultivating these opportunity. Employ policy, operational system and procedure to support and advance current and future business development strategy, proposal and program at the regional level. Ensure that these system align with different country specific environment and are flexible, adaptable and region appropriate. Support situational awareness of the relationship with regional and local customer and other key stakeholder.

What your background should be

Must be an U.S. citizen. Ability to obtain a top secret/SCI security clearance. Ability to travel domestically and internationally 30% of the time. Dynamic, self starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function with minimal supervision. Writing/research sample required (not more than 2,500 words). A flexible approach to work, an understanding of working collaboratively on a team, and the willingness to be an active and supportive member of an international team. An appreciation of different cultures and ability to operate efficiently in a diverse work environment. Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry preferred. Personal experience operating in international contexts outside of North America with experience in the middle east highly desirable.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations or national security studies required from an accredited educational institution with minimum 3 years of professional or military experience. Master's degree preferred in appropriate discipline from an accredited educational institution (or working towards a master degree at time of hire).
