What you'll be doing

The activities of this position are, the rapid exposure drill (RED) process, violations reporting, risk data control and the credit approval and decision making processes. CRMO is actively involved in the analysis of data and risk metrics, identifying trends and issues which may impact the bank ability to manage risk. Others responsibilities : setting team objective and staffing aligned with business priorities and strategic initiatives. Supporting credit risk management in end to end life cycle of risk support; understanding risk policy, key controls and fielding queries from the business. Leading T&O efforts as credit risk support manager overseeing crisis management (rapid exposure drill) process; a critical process in safeguarding the firm assets in the event of a crisis. Driving business accountability liaising with credit and the business to ensure credit risk controls (e.g. violations) reporting in line of business BCCs. Driving strategic global projects strategy for credit risk support and technology plan to improve controls and productivity; partnering closely with credit and technology in the implementation and behavioural changes required. Managing team budget-establishing yearly financial plan and monthly forecasts. Insuring appropriate controls are in place and are effective in support of the business. Stakeholder management across risk, risk reporting and risk technology. Senior escalation and partnership with line of business middle office technology & operations team to ensure transparency and resolution of root cause issues impacting risk. Partnering with credit risk to understand risk policies, new business growth and regulatory change, and effectively assess impact to operations.

What your background should be

Min 15 years of operations experience within financial services. The candidate must have a proven track record in managing people and projects.

Required Schooling / Training

BA or BS degree.
