What you'll be doing

Promote government affairs to internal and external clients by publishing internal articles on department events, managing two monthly internal newsletters, drafting presentations for the SVP and VPs to internal and external groups and hosting the department internal website. Coordinate visits by public officials to company sites across the country. Work with the SVP to manage internal asset deployment and ensure that all projects follow strict processes and deadlines. Include coordinating and tracking all executive political and public policy engagements, providing long term strategic planning. Edit briefing materials and ensure documents are completed within strict deadlines. Develop and maintain a working understanding of all public policy issues facing the company. Provide administrative support to the VP federal affairs and director government affairs, handle department wide billing, maintain contracts with third party vendors and track trade association membership.

What your background should be

Minimum two years experience. Working in a corporate or governmental environment. Experience in legislative and legal research, project management etc.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree required
