What you'll be doing

This position is responsible for managing all facets of organization children services council (CSC) grant award and reporting; monitoring reporting from site directors; tracking and compiling data; preparing reports; entering data; preparing monthly billing; may also work with grant staff to support a variety of departmental projects and initiatives as needed. Maintain manual and automated confidential filing systems to accurately store and efficiently track grant award records/information. Order curriculum materials and plan/lead related training sessions. Plan and coordinate summer session field trips. Oversee student testing and generate related reports as appropriate. Assist in maintaining standards of quality control and accuracy in database administration. May be called upon to assist with special projects within department as appropriate. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications/web-based information. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum one year grant management experience with education sector or CSC grant experience is preferred. Experience with general office procedures and use of office equipment (copiers, scanners, faxes). Microsoft office proficiency with significant Word and Excel experience required. SAMIS experience preferred. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and tape, adding machine experience. Able to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing. Pleasant telephone manner. Excellent problem solving and people skills. Excellent multi-tasking capabilities. Possess self-confidence and be able to work independently or as part of a close team.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree.
