What you'll be doing

The responsible person will design and execute for catalogs and direct mail collateral. S/he will effectively work on multiple projects at the same time and meet overlapping deadlines as they arise. Must know the status of jobs being worked on, and be able to prioritize and complete them. S/he will able to work independently and take most jobs from start to finish with little supervision. The applicant expected to keep all jobs accurate from the initial layout stage in order for the production to go efficiently. Double check all work for consistency and accuracy. Incumbent will ability to listen to management feedback and critique to improve final outcome of work. S/he will meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

What your background should be

At least 5 years design and production experience on a mac. Expertise in InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and FTP system. The candidate should have knowledge of design principles, composition, color theory, brand adherence and a solely creative background. Ability to conceptualize and design solutions to marketing strategies. Solid understanding of print production. Ability to review and correct color proofs.
